Are you a seasoned Java Fullstack Engineer looking to take your career to the next level? Citi is hiring an AVP/VP Java Fullstack Engineer to join its dynamic technology team in Pune. If you have strong expertise in Java, microservices architecture, cloud-native technologies, and modern development practices, this role is for you!

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• ✅ Lead application development activities including feasibility studies, system design, and implementation.
• ✅ Oversee the full development lifecycle – analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• ✅ Provide expert-level application support and troubleshooting.
• ✅ Work with stakeholders to define technology strategies and best practices.
• ✅ Implement security measures and risk mitigation strategies.
• ✅ Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team’s technical growth.

🔹 Required Qualifications:

• 7-20 years of experience in application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 1.8+, Angular, React, Spring Boot, Kafka, Oracle.
• Expertise in microservices architecture and system design.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices.
• Exposure to cloud-native technologies (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience working in an Agile environment (2-week sprint model).

🔹 Good-to-Have Skills:

• Knowledge of event-driven architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with performance tuning, observability, and production monitoring.
• Familiarity with feature flags, trunk-based development, and progressive delivery.
